PURPOSE OF COMMITTEE: To put on a petting zoo at the annual Carousel of Cultures held at Lompoc High School. Committee members will be asked to help set up (& take down) pens for the animals and to take care of the animals while the petting zoo is open to the public. Help the public learn how to properly hold an animal, answer questions, make sure that the animals are not mistreated in any way. It is not required to wear your 4-H uniform, but it is always a great way to represent 4-H.  **Participation in this event can count on a member's Personal Development Report (PDR) under either (J) Committee Member (only if you attended meetings to plan the petting zoo), OR (U) Event Attended (if you attended but did not participate), OR (I) Other 4-H Representation. Those members who work at the petting zoo can also get a point under (Y) Community service.

DEADLINE for Registration is                         – The Committee Youth Chair(s) and Leader are responsible for getting the registration filled out and sent in on time.
